Mindfulness practice transforms us from the inside out. The transformation doesn’t end at week 8, it continues as we tap into this rich resource. Come and deepen your practice in this fortnightly level 2 course over 5 Monday evenings from 6pm – 7.30pm in Term 4 2017. There will be one online group meeting on 6 November.

Prerequisite: You must have participated in the 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course with a reputable teacher.

Level 2 courses offer time and space to refocus and deepen your practice. Each session we will begin with mindfulness practice, reflect individually and together on the joys and challenges of our practice and explore a practice theme to deepen and enrich. In the fortnights between sessions participants have the opportunity to explore bringing new or different elements to practice.

We recommend you bring a journal and pen to each session along with your usual sitting gear (mat, stool, cushions, blankets etc). The course content and practice themes will be responsive to the needs of participants.

Exploration of what I need in order to sustain, revive and grow my practice, to support me to cultivate a free and joyful heart?

Throught the term we will draw from practices from esteemed teachers such as Rick Hanson, Jack Kornfield, Elana Rosenbaum, Tara Brach and Jon Kabat-Zinn.
