I’ve sent in my online registration for an MBSR course, what happens now?
As soon as you have sent in your registration you will receive an email welcoming you to the course. This email will contain details to enable you to pay the $150 deposit. Once we receive your deposit a place will be reserved for you on the course of your choice.
In the weeks leading up to the course, the program coordinator will phone you to arrange a pre-course meeting with your teacher. At this meeting you will be able to ask questions about the program, discuss a payment plan should you choose to and/or finalise payment for the course. Your place on the course will be secured after this meeting and upon receipt of your full payment.
Where do I go for my pre-course meeting?
The pre-course meetings are held either at the 15A Edgar St Ainslie office or 4 Macarthur Avenue, O’Connor office.
At the Ainslie Office parking (located above the IGA at the Ainslie shops) parking is available in front of the office or behind the shops. Look for the 4th door on the right of the IGA. A sign is on the door.
At the 4 Macarthur avenue there is parking at the end of the driveway at the rear of the house. Please do not park in the driveway as it is likely that there will other people meeting their teacher and needing access to the parking.
What can I do if I want to do MBSR but it is too expensive for me?
We have a commitment to making the MBSR program accessible to as many people as possible, even when people can’t afford the full fee. To this end, we offer very generous payment plans and discounted places.
At your pre-course meeting, speak with the teacher who is in charge of the course you want to attend about what you can afford. We are proud of the fact that we have never turned anyone away from doing the program just because they couldn’t afford the full fees.
