You are invited to an info session with Megan Layton, Canberra’s most experienced mindfulness teacher.

In this 1 hour session you will learn what mindfulness is, why it changes our brains for the better, and how to take the next step in your journey.

In recent years, research in neuroscience has made compelling discoveries about the brain’s capacity to grow and change, including evidence that meditation helps to create new pathways in the brain that increase our ability to be more positive and creative.

The Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course is based on this research; however, an 8-week course can be a significant time & financial commitment, so we developed this affordable 1-hour session for those who are curious to learn more before committing to a longer program.

MBSR graduates are also welcome to attend as a refresher.—this is a great way to re-ignite your practice or re-connect with our community.

Megan will share a mix of information, science and experiential learning through short guided mindfulness exercises. You'll find out more about the world gold standard 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course which is the source of much of the evidence base and interest in secular mindfulness.
