Jenny began her mindfulness journey in 2006 when she did the MBSR course. At the time she was burnt out physically, mentally and emotionally – the result of accumulated stress, grief and health issues.
The MBSR course was transformative and marked the beginning of a long healing journey. Mindfulness has had a profound impact on Jenny’s life. “It has enriched my life to such an extent that I feel it has brought me back to life. I have a deeper connection to myself and others which has brought greater understanding of the nature of life and my place in it. Mindfulness has given me clarity, stability and ease in many areas of my life, bringing more moments of joy, peace and gratitude. It has also enabled me to live well with a chronic health condition.”
Jenny has a committed daily mindfulness meditation practice and enjoys extending her learning and deepening her practice regularly at retreats, workshops and practice groups.
She also enjoys a deep interest in body based practices such as yoga, Alexander Technique, dance and authentic movement.
In 2018 Jenny successfully completed Level 1 MBSR teacher training with the MTIA and she co-leads Graduate Practice Groups and helps out at Simply Mindful retreats.
